Designing future of personalised healthcare with Everlab

Project Overview

In a focused 2-week design sprint, I collaborated with Everlab, a well-funded healthcare startup ($3M+) revolutionising personalised healthcare through innovative diagnostic labs and digital solutions.

The Challenge

Everlab needed to create a seamless digital experience connecting their physical diagnostic labs with a patient-facing mobile application, focusing on early disease detection and personalised healthcare management.

My Role

As a Senior UX/UI Designer, I was responsible for:

• Auditing and improving the existing app experience

• Designing the patient onboarding experience

• Designing the overview dashboard page aligned to user needs

• Developing new design components aligned with brand guidelines

Discovery & Audit

I conducted a thorough analysis of the existing app infrastructure and onboarding process to identify areas for improvement, while maintaining close collaboration with the Tech Co-founder to receive immediate feedback through check-ins. This iterative process involved creating and refining early concepts to ensure alignment of ideas between us.

Key Learnings

The key learnings from this rapid-paced 2 weeks emphasise four crucial aspects of successful project execution: the need for swift iteration and decisive decision-making, maintaining strong collaboration with technical team members, finding the right balance between innovative solutions and established design systems, and ensuring thorough documentation for smooth development handoff.
